I woke up and stretched, wincing. I was sore.
"Oh, Frankie!" My mother cried, I jumped. Hadn't expected her.
"Uhm, Mom. Hi. Did you see G-, uh, the guy who brought me here?" I asked, looking around for Gerard. He was nowhere to be seen.
"Who? I thought an EMT brought you.." her eyes burned into mine, I could see her mind working. She thought Gerard was my boyfriend or something.
"A friend, Mom. Just a friend."

I came to with a concerned looking old lady pver me. "You okay, son?" she asked, her eyes large behing her round glasses. "Yeah, I'm good..Thanks." I went inside and took the elevator to Heather's floor. I banged on the front door with an open hand, then she finally yanked the door open.
"What?!?" she yelled. I grabbed her face and kissed her, pushing her into her apartment. "Hello.." a guy who looked and dressed remarkably similar to Aden was sitting on the couch.
